Style, cut, texture, drape, and season are all-important factors in determining the best fabric for a wedding gown.

The same style dress can look and feel quite different in a variety of fabrics, since each material is designed to produce a distinct effect; Some fabrics stick to the body, while others stand away. Some are cherished for their crispness, others for being light-as-air. 

Tulle -- a natural fiber that exudes an innate quality of refinement -- is undoubtedly the most sought-after and cherished wedding dress material, noted for its resiliency, elasticity, and strength. Silk threads are woven to create several fabrics, including satin, a densely-woven silk notable for its super-lustrous gloss; duchesse satin, a blend of silk and rayon that is lighter and more affordable than pure silk satin; charmeuse, a lightweight silk satin with a more subdued luster; and shantung, a low-sheen textured silk characterized by a rough, nubby quality.

Then there are the thinner, textured silks like chiffon, tulle, and organza -- all used in multiple layers for gown skirts since they are transparent, but lightweight.

Every woman has their own dream wedding, it could be in beach, church or wherever you want to spend it. But the most important part of achieving your dream wedding aside from a dashing groom, is, of course your perfect bridal gown; a gown that will symbolize who you are on your special day. 

There are different bridal shops that you could get at a low price, but most of them may not meet your expectations. I went to different places to look for the perfect wedding gown, I even tried going to Baclaran and Divisoria to find cheap gowns. But then I realized, wearing a bridal gown is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so I should do whatever it takes to have the gown of my dreams.

Once upon a time there was a girl who dreamed of a dress worthy of royalty and magical enough for a fairy tale… Well, that’s me! I am planning to celebrate my 18th birthday. And I have tons of stuff to do; I arranged all the things that I needed starting the venue, guest list, food, boost, and other stuff. 

My mom is now asking me what I want to wear on my birthday. Nothing pops into my head, so I immediately search on the internet and there it is, Mitch Desunia Haute Couture. I saw some reviews that really caught my attention. I contact their office and they immediately respond, and set-up a meeting. I ask my mom to come with me to Mitch Desunia Haute Couture, in Alabang-Zapote road. 

The next morning, we arrived at 10:30AM. Ms. Mitch Desunia is there. The moment that I saw her, I saw creativity in her eyes. Ms. Mitch Desunia lets us look for her designs which were very nice by the way. After the viewing of her designs, she asks me the same question my mom also asked me before, “What do I want to wear on my birthday?” After, seeing her and her creations I know what I wanted. So, I told her that I want to wear a gown that I will look like a queen, with a crown and magnificent gown. 

Mitch Desunia Haute Couture team will start to do the sketch in a while. Ms. Mitch Desunia smiled, and told me that she’ll do her best to create that wonderful idea. But then, I remembered it is not for free of course, so I asked her about the pricing. My mom and I were surprise to hear that the gown that I wanted is very affordable! 

Now I can relax, because I know that everything is finally okay. All I need to do is to wait for my wonderful gown, which will surely make me look like a queen on my birthday.

I am planning to buy my dream wedding dress here in Mitch Desunia Haute Couture! This was the first place I went to and I ended up coming back here because I loved her work so much.

I have been to 7 different wedding dress shops and tried of fair share of dresses and nothing pleased me because I fell in love with Mitch Desunia’s unique and one of a kind designs. Once you try on her dresses you will notice the difference and quality.

I absolutely love the sketch for my wedding dress. Mitch Desunia’s designs are amazing! She is very honest and kind. She doesn't pressure you to buy the wedding dress. She just wanted me to find my perfect dress that I wanted. She took a look at me; she knew the types of dresses that would fit my figure the best. She has excellent job of choosing dresses she thinks will fit your body type. 

Make sure you make an appointment before you go. The shop is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM so it is good to make an appointment, which means you get really personal service and 100% of her attention. 

Also there is Mitch Desunia Haute Couture team who will help you in deciding and finalizing your ideas for the dress and they are super sweet and awesome to work with. I really enjoyed the undivided attention at Mitch Desunia Haute Couture because I have been to other places where the lady who were helping out was running around all over the place to help other clients too and I really hated waiting. 

All in all her designs are beautiful and unique. The service was nice and I really enjoyed working with Mitch Desunia and her team. Thank you Mitch Desunia Haute Couture for helping me find my dream wedding dress! I am looking forward to see the actual wedding gown.

I was sent to Mitch Desunia Haute Couture after a friend found her gown there. I called and after a few tries, got through. Talking to Mitch’s assistant on the phone, I knew she'd already know exactly what I wanted. 

When I got to Mitch Desunia Haute Couture, their team showed me a bunch of fantastic gowns, but none lived up to my desired. She actually told me that I have another option which is telling them what I want. 

I admit that at first, I thought that the designers are the ones in charge of the over all design and they won’t consider other opinion; but it never hit me that they accept their clients’ desires. And I am flattered that they are concern to me as their client, they clearly want me or every bride to be happy and want me to pick the perfect dress for my big day. 

As I started discussing my ideas to them, I noticed that they are absorbing all of my ideas. I can see that Mitch Desunia Haute Couture team is willing to help me achieve my dream gown. I don’t know how to sketch a gown so what I did was describe it in full details as I imagine it. While describing what I like, they start to take down notes. And they ask me those basic info about my wedding, the theme, venue and of course the date. 

My wedding will be on September next year, and I am happy that they will be the one who will do my gown even if they have a lot of clients to handle. 

It just shows that Mitch Desunia Haute Couture is very dedicated on what they do. And I am looking forward to it! Mitch Desunia Haute Couture Review

My sister ordered her wedding dress for her wedding in September 2013, I was with her when she attended the shop: Mitch Desunia Haute Couture and loved the owner who was very warm and friendly, there was never any feel of being rushed into anything and she was very comfortable to be around. 

This year it's my turn, and I've been back to Mitch Desunia Haute Couture in Casimiro. Mitch Desunia is as welcoming as ever and without prompting remembered my sister and her dress--she clearly likes to build a good relationship. She showed me a wide variety of gowns, and even look for her designs and sketches before, back and forth between several and I never felt that she minded. 

I felt completely at ease around Mitch Desunia and she has a great eye for suggesting dresses you might consider. She does this without deterring you from others, and unlike another shop I've visited, she did it without making me feel that my body shape was awful and needed to be hidden under layers of fabric. 

I had a wonderful experience, as my sister last year. Now I am so excited on what will my gown look like and I feel confident that Mitch Desunia Haute Couture will create a one of a kind gown for me just like what she did with my sister’s gown.

I absolutely love wearing gowns and dresses on special occasions. Now on my best friend’s debut. Her plan for her debut is extravagant, so it means that her guests should also fit in. I thought of wearing something special, something new and unique.

 

So I asked some of my friends if they know a good fashion designer in town. Most of them answered the same. They said I should check on Mitch Desunia Haute Couture. It is located along Alabang-Zapote road; it is convenient because it will only take me 20 minutes to get there.

As soon as I knew the exact address, I immediately visit their office and inquire. I know that I am in good hands because as soon as I enter her office I already witnessed her wonderful creations. Then, I started explaining what type of gown I’ll be needing. At first I am shy to elaborate the details because I am not used to this things. I normally buy a ready to wear gowns for events.

I showed my design to Ms.Mitch, head-designer. She was thrilled to create that gown. She even suggested some adjustments to make the gown more stunning.

During our discussion about the gown I felt welcome because they treated their clients well, and they don’t force me to decide immediately. They let me decide on my own. After that, we talked about the cost. I didn’t expect how affordable the gown is.

My best friend’s debut is in 3 months from now, and I am excited to see how Mitch Desunia Haute Couture will do magic on my dream gown.

I remember last year after I got engaged, I wanted for a couture gown made by a designer. 

So I did several visits with local designers from the South and shown them my peg. 

During the initial inquiries and getting to know I never felt that spark or the "this must be it moment" although yes, I have searched them through the internet already so I have the idea of their works,until we drove to Las Pinas to try.

And then finally I got to meet my fairy-god mother and right there and then she took our measurements and did the serious chats. Wow! So what else can I do, I fell for her! I am awed by her friendliness mixed with professionalism in every aspect.

A special moment with a very special man is happening on February next year, my fiancée and I had set a date for our wedding.

He proposed to me last April 2015. Now we are in the stage of completing all we need before the wedding. I told him that this is the right time to look for a couturier for my wedding gown and for his suit. So, we inquire in some of the couturier recommended by our friends, but none of them met our expectations.

Then, while we are in wedding seminar in our church, there were a couple who told us that they know a great couturier they gave us the office address of Mitch Desunia Haute Couture. Of course we grab that chance to meet the couturier, after the seminar my fiancée said that we should go there right now!

We arrived at their office after lunch. We were lucky to meet Mitch Desunia in personal as soon as we enter their office I honestly felt welcome. Then we started our talk about the gown and its price etc. My fiancée and I knew that Mitch Desunia is the perfect couturier for us.

I am impressed by the way they treated us during discussion, especially to me. As a girl, it is expected that we (girls) want to have a perfect gown that will show uniqueness and elegance. And Mitch didn’t contradict me; instead she suggested great ideas to beautify my thoughts on the design. As soon as we understood each other, we decided to sign the contract and pay the initial down payment (50%).

Brian and I were lucky to meet a couturier that has the ability to meet our expectations with an affordable price. Now that everything is final between us and Mitch, we’re looking forward for our next meeting which is the first fitting.
